Forever Statistics
==================

This package is built for WoW Forever.

Trade History
-------------
Forever Statistics keeps the existing local Trade History. Completed trades are
still stored in ForeverTradeStatsDB.tradeHistory exactly as before.

Trade Network
-------------
This build also records compact trade observations in a distributed network
ledger. A player being observed does NOT need to have Forever Statistics
installed. Any Forever Statistics user who completes a trade can contribute an
observation.

Network records are shared through WoW addon-message channels. They are
received from other Forever Statistics users in the same guild/group/instance
communication network and deduplicated by trade ID.

----
Opens Forever Statistics for the current character running the addon. This
client-side view uses the character's own statistics API, current equipped
gear, wealth history, and the native Talent Planner. The Talent Planner tab
is intentionally hidden from /fs target comparisons and automatic trade views.

Important limitation
--------------------
The addon cannot create a worldwide database by itself. The distributed
version shares records only through WoW addon communication channels that can
reach other Forever Statistics users. It does not contact an external website.

Network records are observations, not proof of a real-money transaction.
The addon intentionally displays the underlying trade data.

Forever Statistics 0.2.113

- Increased the Talent Planner level cap from 20 to 30 in preparation for the upcoming WoW Forever level-cap update.
- Extended the planner's base talent-point progression to level 30, providing 21 base talent points at level 30.
- The Talent Planner now uses the centralized level-30 planning cap instead of hardcoding level 20.

Forever Statistics 0.2.112

- Added bundled Forever item-name dictionaries for enUS, enGB, deDE, frFR, esES, esMX, itIT, ptBR, ruRU, koKR, zhCN, and zhTW.
- Planned Gear search now matches both the current client-language item name and the canonical English item name.
- Planned Gear results display the bundled localized name even when the item is not cached by GetItemInfo().
- Localized item-name lookup is keyed by item ID, so English and translated names always resolve to the same item.
- Warrior Talent Planner tree headers now use the client locale (for example Spanish: Armas, Furia, Protección).
- Talent Planner tooltips now use the client-localized spell/talent name when the Forever spell API provides one, while retaining English internal identifiers for prerequisites and saved builds.

Forever Statistics 0.2.111

- Added a localization helper for the supported WoW client locales.
- Planned Gear item tooltips now prioritize the native Forever item tooltip, preserving the client's localized tooltip data.
- If the native item tooltip cannot be displayed, the fallback now uses localized item metadata from the Forever client when available.
- Localized fallback labels for item level, required level, item ID, and talent-planner tooltip controls.
- Localized fallback stat labels for the supported client locales.
- Planned Gear search results use the client's localized item name/metadata when the native item API has that item available.
- Talent tooltips continue to prefer the native Forever spell tooltip and now use localized fallback labels when native spell data is unavailable.

Forever Statistics 0.2.105

- Removed the Planned Gear "Add Selected" button.
- Planned Gear search results are now final selections: left-clicking a result immediately places it into the active + Plan <slot>.
- Expanded the Planned Gear search field to use the full available width after removing the button.
- Preserved right-click removal of already planned items and all projected-stat behavior.

Forever Statistics 0.2.104

- Planned Gear search results now add directly to the active slot on left-click.
- Add Selected now commits the selected result, or the first current search result when no result is explicitly selected.
- The existing right-click removal behavior and planned-stat projection are unchanged.

Forever Statistics 0.2.103

- Restored the known-working 0.2.87 talent/build-name interaction path.
- Talent ranks now use the normal Button OnClick path with left-click to add and right-click to remove.
- Restored the working InputBoxTemplate build-name field.
- Restored the working Planned Gear search-result popup to TOOLTIP strata so results appear above the DIALOG statistics window.
- Preserved the dynamic planning-level point calculation (level 20 = 11 points) and Character Planner/Talent Planner shared build state.

ForeverStatistics 0.2.102

- Hardened Talent Planner mouse interaction by placing talent buttons and planner controls above the talent branch/background layers and explicitly enabling mouse input.
- Restored a fully focusable Build name EditBox with explicit mouse/keyboard focus handling.
- Hardened Planned Gear search input with explicit mouse/keyboard focus handling.
- Planned Gear search now falls back to the embedded Forever item database when the search module is unavailable or returns no matches.
- Kept left-click to add and right-click to remove talent ranks.

ForeverStatistics 0.2.102

- Restored the known-working 0.2.87 planner Button OnClick interaction path.
- Left-click adds talent ranks; right-click removes talent ranks.
- Restored the known-working 0.2.87 planner toolbar button behavior and build-name input field.
- Preserved the 0.2.100 talent-tree visuals, Fury icon, current talent data handling, Character Planner, Planned Gear search, and update checker.

Forever Statistics 0.2.102

- Based directly on the working 0.2.98-fixed planner/UI.
- Planned Gear item tooltips are forced to the TOOLTIP strata so search-result item tooltips appear in front of the search UI.
- Planned Gear search includes a local fallback against the bundled Forever ItemDB if the search module is not initialized yet.
- Talent Planner retains the 0.2.98 visual/UI system and uses direct mouse-up handling for left-click add and right-click remove.
- Explicitly disables mouse input on talent background/branch overlay frames and raises talent/toolbar buttons above non-interactive planner layers.

ForeverStatistics 0.2.98
- Fixed the Planned Gear local Forever item database lookup for versioned addon folders by binding the database/search modules to the actual addon name.
- Planned Gear search now uses the bundled Forever ItemDB data again, with slot-aware results and left-click-to-add/right-click-to-remove behavior.
- Reworked Talent Planner build-name input to explicitly focus on click and accept keyboard input reliably.
- Reworked talent buttons to use direct mouse-up handling so left-click adds ranks and right-click removes ranks reliably on WoW Forever.
- Talent Planner now takes its displayed maximum level from the centralized planner cap instead of a hardcoded 20 inside the scan routine.

Forever Statistics 0.2.97
=========================

- Restored the original Planned Gear click workflow: click a + Plan <slot> entry, type in the shared search bar, then left-click a search result to place it directly into that planned slot.
- Kept Add Selected available as an alternate way to place the currently selected search result.
- Right-clicking an item already placed in Planned Gear removes it and restores the + Plan <slot> entry.
- Restored direct left-click talent spending and added direct right-click talent-rank removal. Dependent talents must still be removed first when required by the talent tree.
- Fixed the Talent Planner build-name field so it can be focused and typed into reliably.
- Talent tree point counters now show spent / total available planning points (for example 0 / 11 at level 20) instead of the tree's total possible ranks.
- Talent points now scale with planning level using the Cata progression formula: level 10 = 1 point, level 20 = 11 points, level 60 = 51 points. The 11-point hard cap has been removed so the calculator follows a higher max-level cap automatically.

ForeverStatistics 0.2.96

- Added a built-in ForeverStatistics update checker.
- Reads the installed addon version directly from the .toc file.
- Exchanges ForeverStatistics versions with other users through WoW addon messages.
- Shows a chat-only update notice with the installed version and newer reported version.
- Never uses an interrupting popup.
- Defers the notice until combat ends when the update is discovered during combat.
- Remembers notified release versions in SavedVariables so the same update is not reported repeatedly.
- A newer release is reported once per release, even if multiple ForeverStatistics users report it.

ForeverStatistics 0.2.95

- Repackaged the addon with the versioned root folder `ForeverStatistics-0.2.95` and matching `ForeverStatistics-0.2.95.toc`.
- Fixed the Forever Statistics logo texture path so it resolves from the actual addon folder name instead of the old unversioned `ForeverStatistics` folder.
- Updated the TOC IconTexture path to the versioned addon folder so the logo can load correctly in the WoW AddOns list.
- No other addon functionality or UI behavior was intentionally changed.

ForeverStatistics 0.2.94

- Fixed the Forever Statistics header logo showing as a solid green square by packaging the 128x128 logo as an uncompressed 32-bit TGA with alpha.
- Added the Wealth tab to /fss and placed it immediately before Wealth History.

ForeverStatistics 0.2.93

- Fixed Talent Planner frames from reappearing over other tabs after delayed talent spell-data/icon events.
- Talent Planner now refreshes asynchronously only while the Talent Planner tab is actually active.

ForeverStatistics 0.2.92

-Renamed toc file to ForeverStatistics-0.2.92.toc

ForeverStatistics 0.2.90

-Updated Fury talent icon to correct icon

ForeverStatistics 0.2.85

- Moved LIVE CHARACTER STATS farther down on Character Planner so it sits completely below the TALENT BUILD tree summary without overlapping any talent text.
- Fixed the Warrior Level-20 Talent Planner so talent spell names resolve through the Forever C_Spell API to real spell IDs, icons, and native spell descriptions when available.
- Requests missing spell data from the client and refreshes the planner when SPELL_DATA_LOAD_RESULT/SPELL_TEXT_UPDATE arrives, so icons/tooltips can populate after the planner opens.
- Added exact rank-by-rank Forever Warrior tooltip fallback text for all 53 Warrior talents, including values such as Rage reductions, percentages, cooldown reductions, and damage effects.
- Added visible fallback Arms, Fury, and Protection tree icons so the tree headers never render without an icon while specialization data is initializing.
- Condensed the Arms/Fury/Protection headers and moved the selectable talent grids farther below their tree names, leaving more vertical space for scrolling.
- Kept the Level-20 cap, 11-point budget, simulated spending, prerequisites, save/load, import/export, and Character Planner UI unchanged.

ForeverStatistics 0.2.76
- Reworked the Talent Planner into a native-style WoW Forever talent calculator.
- Scans all 28 Cata talent slots directly through C_SpecializationInfo.GetTalentInfo instead of depending on GetNumTalents being initialized first.
- Displays the three specialization trees with native Forever tree names/icons, native talent backgrounds, talent icons, ranks, prerequisite connections, and hover tooltips.
- Uses the Forever TalentInfo spellID when available so hovering a talent opens its actual spell tooltip/description.
- Shows an always-visible 0/Max rank badge on every talent, matching the Wowhead-style calculator presentation.
- Preserves click-to-add, Shift-click-to-remove, planning level, save/load, import/export, and current-talent loading.
- No Character Planner or unrelated UI layout changes.

0.2.73 Talent Planner Verification Fix
---------------------------------------
- Reworked talent enumeration to match the supplied WoW Forever Cata TalentFrameBase.lua.
- Uses C_SpecializationInfo.GetTalentInfo with talentIndex first, then a tier/column fallback using the same Forever TalentInfoQuery fields.
- Preserves the native 7-tier x 4-column layout and Warrior tree names Arms, Fury, Protection.
- Captures talent icon, spellID, rank, maxRank, tier, column, prerequisites, and border flags when supplied by the client.
- Added automatic rescanning when talent rows are temporarily unavailable during specialization initialization.
- Hover tooltips use the actual Forever spellID when available, with description fallbacks.
- No Character Planner, gear, projected-stat, or unrelated UI positioning was changed.

0.2.72
- Fixed Talent Planner talent discovery to follow the WoW Forever Cata Blizzard talent-frame API: GetNumTalents + legacy GetTalentInfo, with C_SpecializationInfo used to enrich spell IDs.
- Fixed the missing Arms/Fury/Protection tree data caused by the previous 7x4 query path.
- Added canonical Cata Warrior tree-name fallback (and matching fallbacks for the other Cata classes) when the client reports the class name instead of the specialization name.
- Preserved tree icons, talent icons, simulated ranks, prerequisite branches, and hover tooltips; tooltips now also try the Forever spell-description API when SetSpellByID does not populate.

Version: 0.2.93
- Added a bottom-right resize grip to the main Forever Statistics window. The window can now be expanded from any tab, including Talent Planner, and the size is saved for future use.
- Tab buttons and the content area reflow when the window is resized.

Version: 0.2.72
- Expanded the Talent Planner to present the three Warrior talent trees (Arms, Fury, Protection) directly beneath Load My Current Talents in a native-style talent-grid layout.
- Added tree icons and improved talent hover tooltips to use the actual Forever talent spell tooltip/description when a spellID is available.
- Preserved the existing talent point simulation, prerequisites, rank controls, and build save/import/export behavior.
- No Character Planner UI, gear UI, projected-stat UI, or unrelated addon behavior was changed.

Version: 0.2.70
- Planned Gear projections now use the WoW Forever Camelot paper-doll stat rules found in the uploaded Forever Interface source.
- Equipped-item replacement subtracts the actual equipped item-link stats when GetItemStats is available, preserving current socket/enchant stats in the baseline.
- Strength/Agility changes feed into Attack Power using GetAttackPowerForStat; Stamina changes feed into Health using Forever's 20-Stamina breakpoint and UnitHPPerStamina; Agility contributes 2 Armor per point as used by Forever.
- Mana-capable characters also project Intellect-based mana using Forever's 20-Intellect breakpoint.
- Planned two-handed weapons replace both hand slots for projection, and weapon DPS/AP contributions account for the Forever off-hand penalty.
- Planned weapon changes and Attack Power changes are reflected in the projected DPS estimate.
- No Character Planner UI positions, panel sizes, tab layout, or other UI behavior were changed.
- Right-click an added Planned Gear item to remove it and restore the default + Plan <slot> entry.

Changelog 0.2.67
- Fixed the PLANNED CHARACTER STATS description so the full first line, ending with "replacing", is visible and "equipped items." remains directly below it.
- No other UI, stats, planner, item database, or behavior changes.

Changelog 0.2.66
- Wrapped the LIVE CHARACTER STATS description after the word "the" so the remaining text appears directly on the next line.
- Wrapped the PLANNED CHARACTER STATS description after the word "replacing" so the remaining text appears directly on the next line.
- No other UI, stats, planner, item database, or behavior changes.

Changelog 0.2.65
- Removed Power from the Live Character Stats display.
- Kept Strength, Agility, Stamina, Intellect, Spirit, Armor, Attack Power, and Health together in one vertical column, with Health directly below Attack Power.
- Left the rest of the Character Planner unchanged.

Changelog 0.2.64
- Wrapped the Planned Character Stats description onto a second line so the full sentence is visible.

Changelog 0.2.63
- Moved PLANNER SUMMARY lower so there is a clear row of space after Health in PLANNED CHARACTER STATS. No other planner layout or behavior was changed.

Changelog 0.2.62
- Fixed the Planned Character Stats render error caused by UnitAttackPower returning multiple values.
- Planned Character Stats now correctly renders Strength, Agility, Stamina, Intellect, Spirit, Armor, Attack Power, and Health in the requested primary column.
- Planner Summary remains available below the projected stats.

Changelog 0.2.61
- Wrapped PLANNED CHARACTER STATS onto two lines so the full heading fits inside the right-hand panel.
- Tightened the planned-stat columns and summary value widths so right-side text stays inside the UI.
- Kept the Planned Gear, item search, icons, tooltips, and projected-stat behavior unchanged.

Changelog 0.2.58
- Planned Gear search results now show the actual Forever item icon when the client exposes it.
- Hovering a search result attempts the native WoW Forever item tooltip first, including the item's normal stats. If the client does not have native tooltip data yet, the addon falls back to a
locally generated tooltip using the packaged Forever item database.
- Hovering an item already placed in Planned Gear shows the same native/local tooltip.
- Planned Gear remains fully offline and uses the local Forever item database.

Changelog 0.2.57
- Moved the Planned Gear search bar farther below the full Equipped Gear / Live Character Stats dashboard.
- Moved Planned Gear and Planner Summary down with the search bar.
- Added a clear vertical gap so equipment rows cannot overlap the search control.

Changelog 0.2.56
----------------
- Moved Equipped Gear and Live Character Stats upward so they sit directly below the planner header.
- Added a single Planned Gear search bar directly below Equipped Gear and immediately above the Planned Gear section.
- Clicking a Planned Gear + slot now activates that shared search bar instead of opening a separate item-entry dialog.
- Search uses the bundled local Forever item database while typing, with slot-aware filtering for the selected gear slot.
- Selecting a search result closes the result list and enables Add Selected; clicking Add Selected saves the item into that Planned Gear slot.
- Supports future-level gear planning by searching the complete local item database rather than limiting results to the character's current level.
- Main Hand and Off Hand searches accept the relevant Forever weapon/shield/holdable equip locations.
- Planned Gear and Planner Summary remain aligned on the same row.

Changelog 0.2.55
- Refined Character Planner into a wider, dashboard-style layout inspired by classic upgrade planners.
- Unified talent summary, equipped gear, and live character stats in one view.
- Added gear item-level display where the WoW Forever client exposes it.
- Added persistent planned-gear slots as a foundation for future gear-upgrade planning.
- Added quick navigation between the Character Planner and Talent Planner.

Changelog 0.2.48
- Added the self-only Character Planner combining live Talents, equipped Gear, and core Character Stats in one page.
- Reuses the existing verified gear/stat collection used by Character Profile and the Gear tab.
- Added quick navigation between Character Planner and Talent Planner.
- Added the Character Planner tab only to /fss; target/comparison views remain unchanged.

Forever Statistics 0.2.48

Fix: safely initializes the Trade Network SavedVariables tables when upgrading from older versions, preventing networkTradeHistory nil errors.

Changelog 0.2.33
----------------
Added the first distributed Forever Statistics Trade Network ledger.
Added compact trade observation sharing over WoW addon messages.
Added shared observation storage and Trade History network display.
Kept the existing local Trade History intact.
Added /fs network and /fs sync commands.

Changelog 0.2.38
----------------
- Safely resolves and migrates the live ForeverTradeStatsDB before database access.
- Fixed Trade History network rendering by forward-declaring the AddText helper.
- Added the first native in-game Talent Planner prototype.
- Uses the WoW Forever talent APIs and Cata talent-tree rules from the supplied Interface source.
- Detects the current character level and limits planned points to the selected planning level.
- Supports three talent trees, Forever talent icons, ranks, prerequisites, tier requirements, reset, and saved local builds.

Changelog 0.2.39
----------------
- Added /fss for a client-side Forever Statistics view of the current character.
- Uses GetStatistic for the current character instead of comparison statistics.
- Shows the current character's own gear and achievement summary in the same window.
- Shows the Talent Planner only in /fss mode.
- Hides the Talent Planner tab for /fs target comparisons and automatic trade views.
- Keeps existing /fs show and trade behavior unchanged.

Changelog 0.2.42
----------------
- Restored the /fs target-comparison tab layout to match Forever Statistics 0.2.37 exactly.
- /fs show and automatic trade views now use the original five-button first row.
- /fss uses the same layout with Talent Planner inserted between Character Profile and Gear.
- Separate tab layouts prevent the hidden Talent Planner from leaving an empty gap in target views.

Changelog 0.2.45\n- Fixed WoW Forever talent scanning to supply the required C_SpecializationInfo talent tier/column query fields.\n- Preserved legacy Cata talent indices for prerequisites and build strings.\n\nChangelog 0.2.43
----------------
- Reworked the Talent Planner to use the WoW Forever Cata TalentButtonTemplate when available.
- Uses the Blizzard talent branch/arrow textures and Blizzard's Cata prerequisite graph helpers when exposed by the client, with a readable fallback graph.
- Improved talent states for selected, partially ranked, available, and locked talents.
- Added Load My Current Talents to import the character's actual current talent ranks into the simulator.
- Added named local builds with multiple saved builds per class.
- Added build-string export/import using the compact FSB1 format.
- Added a dynamic planning-level cap using GetMaxPlayerLevel when available, with a safe fallback to 60.
- Added a clearer planner toolbar for level selection, build management, and import/export.

Known limitation for class selection
------------------------------------
The WoW Forever Cata talent API exposed by the supplied Interface source is
character/current-class oriented. It does not provide an arbitrary class
argument for GetSpecializationInfo/GetTalentInfo. Because of that, this build
does not fabricate talent trees for another class. An imported build string
for another class is retained in the local imported-build store until a
verified all-class talent-data source is available in the client.

Character Planner (Talents + Gear + Stats)
------------------------------------------
The existing /fss view already has the character's gear and statistics data.
A unified Character Planner page is intentionally left for the next planner
phase so it can use the same verified gear/stat data instead of duplicating or
inventing values.

0.2.55 Item Database
--------------------
- Adds a self-contained WoW Forever item database built from the uploaded
LibItemDB ItemDB-v1.1.3 Forever dataset (client build 1.60.1.69913).
- Includes all 23,596 shipped Forever item IDs with enUS names and available
item metadata: quality, class/subclass, equip location, item level,
required level, and packaged stat data.
- Adds a local search engine through FTS.ItemDB.
- Search is offline and does not require the client item cache or LibItemDB.
- Gear-only searches are available through FTS.ItemDB:SearchGear().
- GetDescription() produces a compact metadata/stat summary for UI use.
- The Planned Gear UI is integrated with this database starting in 0.2.56.

Data attribution
----------------
The Forever item data was derived from the uploaded ItemDB-v1.1.3 package's
WoW Forever dataset. See ForeverItemDB-LICENSE.txt for the included MIT license.

0.2.59 Planned Character Stats
------------------------------
- Adds a Planned Character Stats panel aligned with Planned Gear.
- Recalculates projected stats whenever the planner is rendered after adding an item.
- Projects current live character stats by replacing the equipped item's local database stats with each planned item's stats for that slot.
- Keeps Planner Summary visible in the same right-hand panel below the projected stats.

0.2.75 - Level-20 WoW Forever Warrior Talent Calculator
- Talent Planner is now explicitly capped at the current WoW Forever beta level 20 cap.
- Uses the verified Forever Warrior 53-node Arms/Fury/Protection tree layout rather than relying on a transient native Cata talent-row query.
- Uses the live client spell database for talent icons and hover spell tooltips/descriptions.
- Starts the planning level at the character's current level, so a level 20 character opens at Planning level 20 with 11 base talent points.
- Displays all three Warrior trees side-by-side within the available Talent Planner width.
- Preserves simulated point spending, prerequisite checks, save/load, import/export, and existing Character Planner behavior.

Version: 0.2.76
- Fixed Talent Planner Lua syntax error from malformed generated newlines.

Version: 0.2.120
----------------
- Updated unit-name lookups for WoW Forever 1.60.1 secret-value/taint handling.
- Uses secure unit-name retrieval so character names can continue to be used safely by Forever Statistics.
